Yo Gabba Gabba! Comes to Toronto

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

The critically acclaimed television series Yo Gabba Gabba! is now on tour and is heading our way. That's right, kids! Watch your favourite Nick Jr. characters Brobee, Foofa, Plex, Muno, and Toodee together with DJ Lance Rock as they bust a move live on stage. Their 2010 tour, entitled There's a Party in My City, is scheduled to hit Toronto at the Elgin Theatre on Tuesday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 17 at 11am and 3pm. So if you don't have plans this March Break, why not treat your kids and yourself by joining the party in our city. Ticket sales for the general public are available online at YoGabbaGabbaLive.com or through Ticketmaster as of January 30 at 10am or January 25 for American Express cardholders. Not a cardmember, are we? That's okay. Become a Gabba Mail subscriber and you can take advantage of the pre-sale starting January 28. Tickets are $35 (plus $7.65 in fees when ordering from Ticketmaster). Gold Gabba VIP Party Packages are also available for $99 which will grant you premium seats, a meet-and-greet with the Yo Gabba Gabba! characters, a special entrance to the theatre, and much more. You can also buy tickets in person at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre Box Office, 189 Yonge Street, north of Queen Street, across from the Eaton Centre. Box Office hours are: Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm, closed Sunday and Monday. To order by phone call Ticketmaster at 416-872-5555. There will be a $5.00 off discount for groups of 10 or more. Children under one year of age will be admitted free to sit on a parent’s lap.

Here's a clip from their recent show in New York performing one of my favourite Yo Gabba Gabba! songs. Warning: this song is very catchy!
